About Raphael
Raphael provides safe, therapeutic environments for clients to explore their issues creatively and achieve positive changes. He works with people of all ages, backgrounds, and ability, primarily through NDIS, with issues including depression, anxiety, addiction, disordered eating, phobias, relationship difficulties, trauma, grief, and more.
Raphael travels and works in client’s homes, community centres, schools, and from a studio in Clarendon.
Raphael is deeply interested in people, in our behaviours and interactions - as individuals, families, communities, and societies.
Curiosity and compassion drive Raphael's art therapy practice. He is always learning more about the vastness of human experiences and expression and integrating this into his approach as a therapist.
He has a Graduate Diploma in Arts Psychotherapy, a bachelor’s degree in psychology, and a bachelor's degree in sociology. He is a member of the Australian, New Zealand and Asian Creative Arts Therapies Association (ANZACATA), and has six years of experience seeing clients.
